Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We're Furry Pink Monkey, a small business run by Lee Webber, and we look after any details you share with us.

What we collect

• When you join our mailing list: your name and email address.
• When you buy from us (once our shop is open): your delivery address, phone number and order details.
• Your payment details go straight to our payment provider when you pay — we never see or store your card number.
• A few essential cookies that keep the website working (there's more in our Cookie Policy). We don't use any tracking or analytics.

Why we use it

• To send you our newsletter — but only because you've said yes, and you can say no whenever you like.
• To process and send out your orders — we need your details to get your purchase to you.
• To answer your questions and help you out.
• To keep tax and accounting records — because the law says we have to.

Our emails

You'll only ever get emails from us after you've confirmed you want them (we ask twice, just to be sure). Every email has an unsubscribe link, so you can opt out any time. We will never sell your details or hand them to anyone else for their own marketing. Promise.

Who we share it with

Only the trusted services that help us run the shop:

• MailerLite, which sends our newsletter (it has your name and email).
• Our payment provider, which takes your payment.
• Royal Mail, and occasionally another courier, which need your name and address to deliver your order.
• Our website host, which stores the site safely.

We never sell your information to anyone.

Sending details outside the UK

Some of these services store data outside the UK. Whenever they do, we make sure proper protections are in place to keep your details safe.

How long we keep it

We keep your mailing-list details until you unsubscribe. We keep order and payment records for six years, because tax law requires it. After that, we delete them or remove anything that identifies you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or hand it over to you — and you can change your mind about marketing any time. Just email us. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children

Our shop isn't aimed at under-18s, and we don't knowingly collect any details from them.
